You may be eligible for Disaster CalFresh food assistance

You may be eligible for Disaster CalFresh food assistance (also known as D-CalFresh) if your household: Lived or worked in Shasta County on July 23; and
Incurred disaster-related expenses; or
Experienced a disruption in income; or
Had damage to your home or self-employment property; or
Experienced food loss as a result of the fire or related power outages; and
Are not already receiving CalFresh food assistance
Individuals and families who are not eligible for regular CalFresh may be eligible for Disaster CalFresh food assistance based on qualifying disaster-related expenses.
You can apply for Disaster CalFresh food assistance at the locations below during set dates and times:
Shasta County Health & Human Services Agency, 2460 Breslauer Way, Redding, CA 96001 8:00 am – 6:00 pm (8/22-8/25 & 8/27-8/29)
Shasta County Health & Human Services Agency, Downtown Regional Center, 1220 Sacramento Street, Redding, CA 96001 8:00 am – 6:00 pm (8/22-8/25 & 8/27-8/29)
